Getting your Apple HomePod or HomePod mini online with ASK4 is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to make sure it connects properly.
The steps to add an Apple HomePod depend on which networks are available in your building.
Which network do you see in your WiFi settings?
I can see "ASK4 Resident"
Step 1 - Connect to ASK4 Resident
Enter your personal WiFi passphrase when prompted. This is the passphrase you received when you first signed up - you can also find it in MyAccount at https://myaccount.ask4.com.
Your device is automatically added to your account and is now online.
Step 2 - Set up your HomePod
Once your phone or tablet is online:
- Plug in your HomePod
- Bring your iOS device close to it – the setup screen should appear automatically
- Follow the instructions to add it to your home network
-
When prompted for a network, it should automatically use the one your iPhone is connected to (ASK4 Resident)
Your HomePod will now attempt to connect – but it needs to be registered first.
Step 3 - Reboot and reconnect
- Restart your HomePod
- It should now connect to ASK4 Wireless and come online automatically
Troubleshooting tips
- Make sure ASK4 Resident was selected during setup
- If you're not seeing the setup screen, restart your iOS device and HomePod
- Check that the MAC address was entered correctly in My Account
- Still not working? Contact Support

If you're prompted with a sign-in page, complete registration if this is your first time online.
