Streaming Netflix, gaming on the big screen, or just catching up on YouTube? Follow these steps to get your smart TV online with ASK4.
Step 1 - Connect to ASK4 Wireless
Please only add if it's your personal. Start by connecting the TV to ASK4 Wireless (the open network):
Go to your TV’s WIFI or Network settings
Choose ASK4 Wireless from the list
Let it connect – you might see a “limited” connection, which is fine
Step 2 - Register your TV
Smart TVs usually don’t support pop-ups, so you’ll need to register the TV manually using another device.
Here’s how:
On your phone or laptop, go to https://myaccount.ask4.com and log into your ASK4 account
Find your TV’s MAC address (see next section)
Enter the MAC address in Add a device manually and click Enable this device
Step 3 - Find your MAC address
Most smart TVs show the MAC address in:
Settings > Network > About / Advanced Settings
Settings > Support / About This TV / Contact Info
Or printed on the label on the back of the TV
It will look something like:
00:A1:B2:3C:D4:E5
Still stuck? Search for “your TV brand MAC address” online for exact steps.
Step 4 - You’re online!
After registering:
Reboot your TV
Go back to ASK4 Wireless in the network menu
You should now be online
