How to take a screenshot

How to take a screenshot on:

Macbook:

In order to take a screenshot on an Apple Mac laptop, you will need to press cmd + shift + 3. This will create an image of what you can see on your screen and save it to the desktop.



Windows device:

To take a screenshot, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard, it may appear as “prt sc” or “prt scrn”.

To save the screenshots, open Paint by typing “Paint” into the Start Menu’s search box. Once Paint is open, hold down CTRL and press V, this will paste the screenshot into Paint.

Save the screenshots to your Desktop using the save icon at the top of the page.

Linux:

In order to take a screenshot on your Linux laptop, you will need to press the print screen-key on your keyboard.

The Print Screen key is located at the top of the keyboard, usually between F12 and ScrLk. It may be labeled “Print Screen”, “PrtScn”, “PrntScrn”, or something else similar.

The screenshot will show everything in your display. You will be prompted to select where you would like to save the screenshot file. If you don’t have a print screen key on your keyboard, please use the screenshot utility to take a screenshot.
