Depending on your building, you may see some or all of the following networks:
ASK4 Signup
Used only to create your account if your building has ASK4 Resident. Once signed up, switch to ASK4 Resident.
ASK4 Resident
The main network for residents at buildings with ASK4 Resident. Connect using your personal passphrase. If you can’t remember your passphrase, you can find it in MyAccount at https://myaccount.ask4.com .
ASK4 Guest (where available)
An open WiFi network for visitors which provides temporary Internet access. Not for resident use.
ASK4 Wireless 802.1x
Available at all buildings. An enterprise standard 802.1x secured WiFi network for Internet access which provides WPA2 encryption at the wireless layer. Log in with your ASK4 account username and password.
ASK4 Wireless
Available at buildings without ASK4 Signup and ASK4 Resident. Used by residents and guests for signing up and for connecting devices that don't support 802.1x authentication. At buildings with ASK4 Signup and ASK4 Resident, this role is replaced by those two networks.
ASK4 IoT 2.4
For smart home devices and other devices that only support 2.4 GHz WiFi, such as smart speakers and thermostats. Connect using your personal passphrase.
Wired Ethernet (where available)
If your room includes an Ethernet port, you can plug your device directly into the wall using a standard network cable. Ethernet is perfect for gaming, streaming, or high-performance tasks.
