4Network is a part of our 4Connect Plus add-on. It allows your personal devices to communicate with each other over the ASK4 network, as if they were connected to your own private home router.
Why would I need 4Network?
Without 4Network, all devices on the ASK4 service are isolated. This means:
Your Chromecast won’t be able to see your phone
Your wireless printer won’t show up for your laptop
Your Sonos speaker may not appear on the app
4Network enables these types of local connections between your registered devices
When to use it
You’ll benefit from 4Network if you use:
Streaming devices like Chromecast, Fire Stick, Apple TV
Smart speakers like Sonos, Echo, or HomePod
Game consoles for local multiplayer
Wireless printers
Smart home devices like lights and plugs
How it works
Once enabled:
Your registered devices will be placed on your own private local network
They’ll be able to discover and communicate with each other
You’ll still be connected to the main ASK4 service — with the additional functionality
Is it secure?
Yes — only the devices on your account are included in your private 4Network. Other tenants cannot see or access your devices.
How to purchase 4Network
If 4Network is not inclusive in your building, you will see the 4Connect Plus Add-on available to purchase. Please follow the below steps to purchase 4Connect Plus:
Log in to https://myaccount.ask4.com
Go to Buy Add-ons
Choose 4Connect Plus and select Checkout
Restart your devices or reconnect to WiFi
