Service Add-ons are optional extras you can activate to get more out of your internet service. This article explains what’s available, how to check what your building supports, and how to activate an Add-on in My Account.
What are Add-ons?
Add-ons give you extra features or enhanced connectivity beyond the standard internet package. Depending on your building, you may see:
4Connect
Allows you to connect an unlimited amount of devices to your account
4Connect Plus
As well unlimited devices, this allows your personal devices to communicate with each other.
Essential for:
Casting from your phone to a Smart TV
Printing over the network
Playing multiplayer games locally
Connecting smart speakers, such as Sonos, or game consoles on the same network
4Backup
Secure cloud storage for your files, coursework, media, or important documents.
Speed upgrades
Upgrade your bandwidth to a faster package. Useful if you're streaming, gaming or working from home.
How do I know what’s available?
Not all Add-ons are available in every building. To find out what your property supports:
Go to https://signup.ask4.com
Log in or create an account
Your available upgrades and Add-ons will be shown on the dashboard
If you don’t see a specific Add-on listed, it’s likely not supported in your building.
How do I upgrade?
To activate an Add-on:
Log into https://myaccount.ask4.com
Click 'Buy Add-ons'
Select your Add-on or upgrade of choice
Follow the on-screen steps to purchase it
Your Add-on will be enabled straight away
Is there a contract?
Speed upgrades:
Can be paid monthly, depending on your building
Do not lock you into long-term contracts
The Add-ons are a one-off charge, so there is no contract commitment.
