Already have an ASK4 account and want to get a device without an Internet browser online? The steps to add headless devices depend on which networks are available in your building.
Which network do you see in your WiFi settings?
I can see "ASK4 Resident"
- On your new device, open the WiFi settings and connect to ASK4 Resident.
- Enter your personal WiFi passphrase when prompted. This is the passphrase you received when you first signed up - you can also find it in MyAccount at https://myaccount.ask4.com.
- Your device is automatically added to your account and is now online.
Can't remember your passphrase?
Log in to https://myaccount.ask4.com to view or reset it.
Note: If you reset your passphrase, you'll need to re-enter it on all your connected devices.
I can see "ASK4 Wireless" (but not "ASK4 Resident")
If your device doesn't have a web browser (for example, a games console or smart device), you'll need to add it manually. Here's how to add your device.
Step 1 – Find the MAC address
- First, you need the device's MAC address – a unique identifying number for each device you own. This can be found in your device settings.
- Then, just add the MAC address at https://myaccount.ask4.com under 'Manage my devices'

Step 2 – Connect your device
Now go back to your device:
- Open its WiFi settings.
- Select ASK4 Wireless from the list.
Wait a few moments for the connection to complete.
Your device should now be online. Some devices may also support ASK4 Wireless (802.1x) once registered.
I want to connect my device with an Ethernet cable
Please refer to our article on how to connect a device using a wired connection here: Adding a wired device
The network names above are the standard ASK4 defaults - your building may use slightly different names. If you're unsure, check your welcome information or contact Support.
