If you’re struggling to get online - whether your internet won’t connect, you’re seeing a “no internet” error, your WiFi keeps dropping out, or your speeds are unusually slow - follow these steps to get back online quickly.
Step 1 - Check Your WiFi Connection
Go to your device’s WiFi settings and check:
You are connected to ASK4 Wireless
If you’re trying to use ASK4 Wireless (802.1x) - make sure your device supports this login method
You’ve completed any login page actions that appear
Step 2 - Make sure your device is registered
Sometimes a device won’t register automatically. Here’s how to do it yourself:
Log in to https://myaccount.ask4.com (Usernames are case-sensitive)
Choose Manage My Devices and click on Add New Device
Enter your device’s Device Name and MAC address
Click Add New Device
Step 3 - Quick fixes for Internet / WiFi Issues
Restart your device – It’s basic, but it works
Forget and reconnect to ASK4 Wireless
Try another browser – Especially if you’re struggling with login or redirects
Temporarily disable any VPNs and retest
Login to https://myaccount.ask4.com - If you see a 'Connection Expired' warning, please click 'Renew My Connection' to re-enable your service
Step 4 - Switch Networks if Needed
If you were using ASK4 Wireless (802.1x) and having issues, try ASK4 Wireless
Step 5 - Use the ASK4 Diagnostics app
Download the ASK4 Diagnostics app and run a connection test:
Once installed:
Open the app
Follow the steps to scan your connection
Share the results and the diagnostic code with Support
*Please ensure you run the diagnostic test when you are experiencing the problem
