How to connect WiFi Light Bulbs

Note: If you wish for your WiFi light bulbs to be controlled over the wireless network, or link up with another device such as your Amazon Dot, Google Home, etc., you will need to have 4Network enabled on your account. 4Network is part of the 4Connect-Plus add-on, purchasable via myaccount.ask4.com

However, some light bulbs are controlled through an application over the Internet, rather than the local network. If this is the case, you may not require 4Network. Please speak to the manufacturer if you are unsure how the bulb and application operate.

For the smoothest setup experience, please follow our guide before powering on your new WiFi Light Bulb.

Finding your WiFi Light Bulb’s MAC Address

If you wish to connect your WiFi light bulbs to the wireless network, you will need to add the MAC address of the device to your account.

In some cases, these bulbs will be controlled by a central HUB. You may also require the MAC address of this device to be added to your account.

The MAC address is usually printed on the device itself. If not, please speak to the manufacturer or consult the device manual for guidance.
