How do I create a 4Voice account?

To create a 4Voice account follow the instructions below.

Individual room phone (phone within your bedroom/studio):

    1. Dial 152 from your 4Voice telephone and select option 2 to set/change your 4Voice PIN (1234 is not allowed).
    2. Navigate to: myaccount.ask4.com.
    3. Log in with your ASK4 account username and password and choose 4Voice.
    4. Click Link Existing Account.
    5. Select Private Phone as your Account Type, then enter your 4Voice telephone number in Extension. You can obtain your telephone number by dialling 175 from the handset.
    6. Within the PIN”field, enter the PIN you just created (refer to step 1 above).
    7. On the next page, enter your card details to add credit to your 4Voice account. If you do not wish to add credit at this point you may logout, however you’ll only be able to make internal calls or calls to UK freephone telephone numbers. You can purchase 4Voice credit in multiples of £5 up to a maximum of £30 in a single transaction. Please note however that credit cards are subject to a 2.5% surcharge, no charges apply to debit cards.
    8. After successfully purchasing 4Voice credit, the credit will be immediately applied to your 4Voice account and if you attempt to make an outbound call our system will automatically detect if the call is chargeable.
To check your remaining 4Voice credit, dial 152 from the handset and select option 1.

Communal phones/shared flat phones:

  1. Navigate to: myaccount.ask4.com.
  2. Log in with your ASK4 account username and password and choose 4Voice.
  3. Click Link Existing Account.
  4. Choose your desired pin (4 digits, ‘1234’ is not allowed).
  5. Make a note of the PIN number.
  6. On the next page, make a note of your account number and enter your card details to add credit to your 4Voice account. If you do not wish to add credit at this point you may logout, however you’ll only be able to make internal calls or calls to UK freephone telephone numbers. You can purchase 4Voice credit in multiples of £5.00 up to a maximum of £30.00 in a single transaction. Please note however that credit cards are subject to a 2.5% surcharge, no charges apply to debit cards.
  7. After successfully purchasing 4Voice credit, the credit will be immediately applied to your 4Voice account and if you attempt to make an outbound call our system will automatically detect if the call is chargeable. If the outbound call you are attempting to make is chargeable you will be asked to enter your 4Voice PIN, if the outbound call you’re making is not chargeable (i.e. you’re making a call to an internal 4Voice extension) the call will go through immediately.
To check your remaining 4Voice credit, dial 152 from the handset and select option 1.
