Apple devices are equipped with two security functions activated by default: "MAC Randomisation" and "MAC Rotation".
The private Wi-Fi address, or "MAC Randomisation", helps to protect your private network and your security by changing the MAC address of the device which allows you to log out and reconnect.
As your MAC address is registered on your computer, you may need to re-register your equipment so that you can forget the information that this feature is active.
Ceci ne applique qu'au réseau ouvert (ASK4Wireless, or ASK4WiFi).
The MAC rotation modifies the MAC address of your apparel more frequently, unless you need to replace it. It can be done every two weeks.
To resolve this problem, we recommend that you connect to the ASK4 Wireless 802.1x secure network. This allows you to connect in complete safety, without choosing the MAC address of your device and without requiring the adapter.
Remark: To be able to connect to the ASK4Wireless 802.1x network, you must sign up and create a compte.
Alternatively, if you still use the ASK4Wireless reset, you can choose to deactivate the function. You have to decide.
You will find here the instructions for doing it on iOS. You can find the instructions for Android and Windows via Google.
Deactivate the private address
See the "Parameters" page and find the information button on the side of ASK4Wireless. Look at the curser located under "Private Wi-Fi Address" to suppress MAC randomization. Please repeat the same tape separately for the 802.1x network so that you can connect safely.
I will deactivate the rotation of MAC addresses
See the "Parameters" page and find the information button on the side of ASK4Wireless. Check out the curser located under "Rotation of the Wi-Fi address" to suppress MAC rotation. Please repeat the same tape separately for the 802.1x network so that you can connect safely.
