Apple devices have two security functions enabled by default: "MAC Randomization" and "MAC Rotation".
Private Wi-Fi Direction, or "MAC Randomization" , helps protect your privacy and security by changing the MAC direction of your device every time you forget the red light and reconnect.
As we need to know that your MAC address is registered in your account, let's try to add your device every time you forget the red light while this function is active.
This only applies to the open screen (ASK4Wireless or ASK4WiFi).
The MAC Direction Rotation changes the MAC direction of your device more frequently, without needing to forget the red one. This can happen every week.
For this resolver, we recommend connecting to the red ASK4 Wireless 802.1x connection. This will allow you to connect safely, without randomly changing the MAC direction of the device and forcing you to join the device.
Note: You must register and create a account to be able to connect to ASK4Wireless 802.1x.
Alternatively, if you want to use the red open ASK4Wireless, you can opt to deactivate the function. This depends completely on you.
Below are the instructions on how to do it on iOS. You can find instructions for Android and Windows via Google.
Deactivate Private Direction
Go to "Configuration", then touch the information button next to ASK4Wireless. Touch the control slide to "Private Wi-Fi Management" to eliminate MAC randomness.
